Ok definitely the thing that this Pompeii series really suffers from is that I’m extremely not the right audience for it, having learnt about Pompeii first in primary school and again when I studied Latin and Classical Civilisations in secondary school and also having visited Pompeii and Herculaneum probably about 6 times.
Also feels weird that he’s getting Morticia lighting
Tom Hiddleston is extremely unconvincing in this 2nd episode of his Pompeii show when he’s looking at Pliny’s letters and going “oh I wonder what will happen”
Once again looking through a dropdown list to find where they’ve put “United Kingdom” and today’s one has it in the spot that “England” might find itself in.
