The annoying thing about scheduling films with four hours in-between is that there’s really no point going home but I also don’t want to do anything in particular.

    Food

That thing where your tummy doesn’t feel great and you need boring English food or rice.

    (I had a nice risotto)

Every so often I wonder if someone knows that because you have the ability to do a thing, it doesn’t mean that you have to do that thing

A friend of mine has been on holiday in South America for what feels like 3 weeks (in all honesty my perception of time is poor) and ahhhh I love seeing friends’ holiday photos. I love it.

Also handy is that they have those new fangled telephonic devices to share photos as they go rather than how they get to see my photos which is “maybe one, if I remember after” because uhhh my phone and camera are separate devices

Blehhhhh. I did get back to the front of the queue eventually and get tickets again (thanks in part to the Amex presale tickets mistakenly being available to buy already instead of only from Friday) but unfortunately not in my preferred places to sit (always at the end of a row).

I do at least have tickets for both the cat movie and the pope movie.

Anyway, I got to the front of the queue, put my tickets in my basket, attempted to pay and had it 3Dsecure fail a bunch of times (as it apparently did for a bunch of others buying tickets) and THEN it punted me back into like 20000th in the queue even though I had about 15 minutes left on the timer 🙁
