I continue to forget that it’s difficult for me to listen to a podcast and read other words at the same time

Listening to someone on Radio 3 talking about a singer called Vernon and remarking how blah blah blah everything is normalised for the radio but he sounds quiet, like this particular quality to this song they are playing.

He sounds just like Ásgeir. So um, I don’t get what in particular stands out to the radio people.

But why is one of my neighbours letting off fireworks tonight???

I am in Manchester for the first time and it is literally only so that I can get on a train and leave it lol

Investing in the fancy earplugs has turned out to be really worthwhile for like… everything. At gigs, on the train, in the cinema – it’s all loud enough to bother my tinnitus
