I have now just watched Ina Garten make a hummus and tuna sandwich and absolutely not.

I’ve seen two productions of Carmen – Zeffirelli’s one in around 2017 in Verona and another at the Royal Albert Hall performed in English and neither Zeffirelli’s input at or it being in a language I understand improved things.

The telly luring me in with a 1954 film named Carmen Jones about “a factory worker who falls in love with a soldier” only for the opening credits to roll with BIZET’S MUSIC and it is my NEMESIS Carmen, my be-hated.

Anyway I am EXTREMELY excited at the prospect of a new AFI album and I would really like them to do a European tour for it.

Definitely confused whoever called me claiming to be from some phone network offering me 30% off my monthly bill by telling them I don’t have a monthly bill.

Turns out that this kind of weather was great for me being awake for motorsport at silly hours o’clock! who knew!!

The thing about being a 5 hours of sleep at a time kind of person is that when that when you lie down for a moment at 8.30pm, sometimes it is suddenly 1.30am and you are super awake

So far this week, the questions I’ve been getting at work are the usual database things but also now pope-stuff, as I guess I am the unofficial delegate from the catholic church to my workplace

Fascinating to watch what basically what happens in a regular funeral, talked about like it’s on a nature documentary.
