I should probably mention it here, but if you have tickets for the London e-prix – check that you like the seats that you’ve been moved to. So far I know of 4 people (inc myself) who’ve been moved to worse seats due to “restructuring” – if you don’t like the new seats, you can contact customer service to “rebook & refund” but you will be out of pocket booking fees and the difference in ticket price 🙁

Have once again managed to double book myself with an energy-related named band on at the same time as an e-prix. Last time it was the first race of the season and Electric Six, this time it’s the Miami e-prix and Sea Power

That thing when you’re watching a documentary, look away for a bit while listening to the archeologists talking and then remember that you don’t understand Italian and really do have to look.

This thought prompted by remembering how one person was commenting on how the particular snack bowls seemed to “live” on the tea table that they’d seen and how it must be because drinking tea stimulates appetite etc and couldn’t event consider that putting snacks out for your guests is just a normal hospitality thing (at least within my family’s culture).

I don’t even practice gongfu tea myself but if someone comes round there will be snacks on the table ready.
